Requirements

Active RN License in the state of CT
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Experience

Cardiology practice experience
Prior cardiology experience

Responsibilities

Triage and assess patient conditions via phone or in-person consultations, determining the urgency and type of care required for patients.
Provide medical advice and guidance.
Communicate with physicians and care team regarding patient statuses.
Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist the clinician with medical exams.
Obtain patient history and medical information.
Collect and process specimens as directed by the clinician and perform point of care testing.
Instruct patients and caregivers on performing preventive care, preparing for tests, monitoring treatment progress, and noting symptom changes.
Contact patients by telephone to provide requested follow-up, advise them of test results, or relay physician instructions.
Perform other duties as required.
