Qualifications:
- Registered EEG Technologist
- One year of EEG experience
- BLS/CPR certified
- Advanced computer, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Job Duties:
- Perform routine EEGs in accordance with established ASET guidelines for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Enter raw data and prepare data for physician review
- Measure and apply electrodes for adult and pediatric patients
- Conduct descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns observed
- Interact appropriately with patients and their families
- Edit 24-hour data
- Maintain equipment and stock acquisition stations
- Report malfunctions and record in the equipment log book
- Follow existing hospital/department policy and procedures
