Short Description:

Clinical Leader responsible for providing clinical leadership and support across an acute care setting, ensuring quality care delivery and effective resource management.

Requirements:

• NYS Licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of 3 years acute care experience, including 1 year in critical care
• 1 year leadership or charge nurse experience
• Strong communication and prioritization skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Coordinate clinical activities and provide leadership support to nursing staff
• Assist in planning and evaluating nursing care across all age groups
• Ensure integration and consistency of care services
• Collaborate with Nursing Managers and Clinical Leaders to manage staffing levels
• Support in handling emergency clinical and administrative situations
• Facilitate competency assessment and staff development
• Foster professional development and provide mentoring and coaching to staff
• Act as a liaison between off-shift staff and Nursing leadership
• Maintain and evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional practice norms
• Allocate resources efficiently to ensure safe and culturally sensitive care
