Description

Position Overview

This is a critical care float position where travelers will float between all adult ICUs and step-down units. Note that post-cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD patients will not be assigned.

Qualifications

License Requirements: Must have a valid MA RN license.
Experience Requirements: 3 years of ICU experience required. 5 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility is preferred.
Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS.

Additional Information

Travelers should confirm their awareness of two exams during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams are pass/fail with a single attempt allowed.
Several study materials will be provided during the compliance process.
Weekend and holiday rotations are part of the schedule.
Any call outs must be made up by the end of the assignment.
