Description

Position Overview

This is a critical care float position where travelers will float between all adult ICUs and step-down units. Note that post-cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD patients will not be assigned.

Qualifications

  • License Requirements: Must have a valid MA RN license.
  • Experience Requirements: 3 years of ICU experience required. 5 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility is preferred.
  • Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS.

Additional Information

  • Travelers should confirm their awareness of two exams during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams are pass/fail with a single attempt allowed.
  • Several study materials will be provided during the compliance process.
  • Weekend and holiday rotations are part of the schedule.
  • Any call outs must be made up by the end of the assignment.
