Description

The role involves utilizing the nursing process for comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Candidates will maintain the highest quality of customer service standards, ensuring accurate and current patient records. Responsibilities include the documentation of assessments covering physical, psychological, social dimensions, and discharge plans.

Proficiency is required in charge nurse duties, computerized nursing informatics, and serving as a resource for patient care and staff orientation. The position includes participating in the quality assessment of patient care, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining professional development documentation.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating daily operations of the Operating Room, assisting in supervision and staff development, and managing materials and supplies for efficient OR operations. The candidate will also oversee the maintenance and inventory management of controlled substances.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year OR experience.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Use of lead apron required.

On-call participation is required for off-shift, weekends, and holidays.
