Guarantee Hours (Weekly): 40 hrs

Schedule:
- Weekdays: 5:30 am to 10:30 pm with 8-hour, 10-hour, or a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts depending on department needs.
- Weekends: Every other weekend from 5:30 am to 10:30 pm with similar shift variations.
- Occasional Sundays due to holidays with the same shift structure.

Float Requirements:
- Required to float to all other Dialysis locations.

Special Skills/Traits:
- Charge Nurse experience required.
- Experience in both outpatient chronic and acute settings required.
- Ability to manage a charge role for a 24-chair unit when assigned.
- Experience with acute 8-station coverage.

Certifications and Skills:
- BLS required
- Chronic Outpatient Dialysis experience
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Experience with 20008T Fresenius
- Skills including but not limited to:
- Cannulation of AV graft and fistula
- Dialysate conductivity testing
- Management of Tunneled/Non-Tunneled Catheters
- Familiarity with various dialysis alarms and technical issues such as blood leak detector, blood pump alarm, and more
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Infection control measures

Clinical Experience:
- Must have 1 year of relevant experience.

Traveler Considerations:
- Open to first-time travelers.
- Local candidates are accepted if they are greater than 75 miles from the location.
