Role Overview

  • Location: Traveler position in the Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Unit Details

  • Specialization: Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU)
  • Bed Count: CTICU consists of 6 beds
  • Common Patient Diagnoses: Cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)

Experience and Certification Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with fresh hearts is required
  • Travel experience is required
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Must be proficient in EPIC system

  • 75-mile radius rule applies for travelers
