Description

Position Overview

Seeking a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nurse with a primary focus on Med Surg/Tele. The role requires flexibility to float as per facility needs.

Schedule

Work Schedule: 3 days a week, 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday commitment
Call-Off Policy: Up to 3 shifts during a 13-week assignment

Experience and Skills

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar role
Required Skills:
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
Peripheral Line Care/Management
Proficient in Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
Knowledge of isolation precautions

Licensing and Certification

Active NY State License required or confirmation of application
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Additional Information

All requested time off (RTO) must be declared at the time of submission
Responsibility lies with the traveler to arrange cover for any additional shifts if RTO is declared after offer
Automatic disqualification if there are any hits on the nursing license

Old community hospital, doctors are really out of touch, small hospital problems. Lots of drama. Same as every other small hospital.
