Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled RN to join our team in a Long Term Care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and a strong commitment to patient care. The role requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient's health status to ensure optimal care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of quality care.
- Respond to emergency situations with a calm and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Additional Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- CPR certification is preferred.
