Description
Applies the use of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine/PET CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, chief, and/or senior technologist. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and regulations. Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts.
Must-Have Skills:
- Trained in venipuncture
- Familiarity with EPIC
- Siemens PET/CT
- GE General Nuclear Medicine software
- Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology
Licensure/Certifications Required:
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear)
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (optional)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT), preferred
- CPR Certified (BLS)
