This position is responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning, and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both inpatient and outpatient settings. For patients with advanced lactation support needs, the individual will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team related to these goals and plans.

Submission Requirements: - Position open to RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist if job requirements are met; all must be licensed in Massachusetts. - 1+ years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is required. Equivalent certifications are not accepted. - A minimum of 2500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant is required. - Required experience with inpatient lactation programs. - Experience with outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations, and/or teaching is required. - Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred. - All certifications must be in hand at profile upload; facility does not pend upon offer. - Permanent address must be included with the profile. - Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
