Role: Respiratory Therapist
Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
Years of Experience: 3+
Float Requirements: Experience in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care

Education & Certifications Required:

Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU
Education Modules: Variable

Unit Information:

Team Size: Cover the entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRTs
Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8
Equipment: Includes Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

Must-Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, level 1 trauma
Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU, Cardiothoracic
Type of Patients on Unit: Varied
Personality Fit: Flexible, team player, great communication skills
