  • Role: Respiratory Therapist
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
  • Years of Experience: 3+
  • Float Requirements: Experience in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care

Education & Certifications Required:

  • Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU
  • Education Modules: Variable

Unit Information:

  • Team Size: Cover the entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRTs
  • Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8
  • Equipment: Includes Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
  • EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

  • Must-Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, level 1 trauma
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU, Cardiothoracic
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Varied
  • Personality Fit: Flexible, team player, great communication skills
