Description

Certification and Experience Requirements:

Must be Chemo Certified
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
Experience with Epic EMR system is necessary
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities:

Develop individualized care plans for patients
Identify and manage cancer-related issues
Contribute to cancer research to improve treatment protocols
Provide supportive resources to patients and families to enhance a positive outlook
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment on an ongoing basis

Miscellaneous Requirements:

Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
May be asked to work additional shifts to accommodate chemotherapy patients

Skills:

At least 2 years of nursing experience
Proficiency in using the Epic EMR system
Chemo certification is mandatory
