Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our exceptional team. You will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterizations and other heart-related procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures by ensuring all necessary documentation and reports are completed.
• Operate specialized equipment to monitor and record vital signs and other key parameters during procedures.
• Assist the cardiologist by handing tools and completing tasks during invasive procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments to adhere to infection control measures.
• Monitor and assess patient's condition throughout procedures and relay critical information to the medical team.
• Contribute to procedures such as angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and implantations of pacemakers.
• Ensure all equipment is tested and working efficiently prior to each procedure.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Proficiency in operating medical imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
