Description
License(s) and Certification(s):
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Responsibilities:
- Ensure expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care for patients and families.
- Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate ability to triage incoming patient requests for services.
- Provide patient education to facilitate plan of care and promote optimal wellness.
- Delegate care appropriately according to Colorado statutes.
- Exhibit competent healthcare assessment skills, prioritization, and critical thinking.
- Handle high telephone volume of patient requests for medications, information, and assistance.
- Coordinate patient care with other physician practices and healthcare facilities to achieve the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Deliver excellent service by utilizing Relationship-Based Care.
- Advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication.
- Role-model the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
- Must comply with HIPAA guidelines.
Additional Information:
- CAPS Requirement (apply as soon as possible): Colorado CAPS System; may take up to two weeks to obtain.
- Out-of-state agencies must register in the system accordingly.
