Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate MRI scanner to produce several cross-sectional scans and combine them into a 3-dimensional image for radiologist viewing.
- Consistently obtain high-quality imaging for radiologist interpretation.
- Have a general understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function.
- Maintain safety for anyone within the MRI zones.
- Interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
- Support and promote the values and mission of the organization.
- Engage in courteous interaction with co-workers and peers.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s Degree required
- Licensure(s): ARRT certified Radiography & State of Maine Radiography
- Certification(s): ARRT MRI certified preferred
- Registration(s): ARRT Radiography
Additional Information:
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The facility can cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
