Description

You'll care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns while collaborating with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. The OB unit cares for antepartum, labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients in a supportive community hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to changes in patient condition.
Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

Active NY RN License
BLS (Required)
ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring experience preferred
Previous Labor & Delivery/OB experience required
