Facility Information:

Located in Berlin, VT
Total Facility Beds: 100
Documentation System: Epic

Experience and Certification Requirements:

Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience required
ARRT certification required
Must have teaching facility experience
EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required

Dress Code:

Scrubs in any color
Closed, non-skid shoes
Minimal jewelry, adhering to dress code
Well-groomed hair/beard suitable for mask-wearing
No artificial nails

Rotation and Scheduling:

8-hour shifts typically scheduled
Flexibility required with possible evening shifts until 9:30 PM
Call requirements include 1 night per week and every 4th or 5th weekend
Floating required within radiology units

Department Information:

Number of staff: 40+
Only third shift works alone
Must be trained in CT/X-Ray
Typical procedures include routine exams
7 X-ray rooms, 3 C-Arms, 2 CT units, 1 MRI-GE Optima 450w, 4 ultrasound machines, 1 nuclear and 2 mammography units

Specific Modality Information:

Generally wide bore MRI machines
MRI procedures scheduled every 45 minutes
12-14 exams per day on average

Additional Requirements:

Contrast injections required depending on modality
Must be willing to work in surgery and perform fluoroscopy
For OB/GYN, a chaperone provided for male technicians during transvaginal exams

Transportation Information:

Public transportation not accessible; reliable personal or rental vehicle recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during certain months

Other Notes:

Ensuring complete work history information is crucial for submission
Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in detail
