Radiologic Technologist
Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations and providing high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Follow physician instructions and adhere to standard procedures to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of radiology equipment.
- Provide support and assistance to patients during imaging procedures.
- Ensure the safety of patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Review and evaluate developed x-rays, video tape, or computer-generated information to assess the quality of images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and processing documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Valid certification as a radiographer from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proficiency in using radiology equipment and technology.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and equipment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
