Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess clinical conditions, recognize, and interpret serious situations to prioritize and take proper action.
- Initiate appropriate measures in emergencies when the physician is unavailable.
- Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
- Record observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures administered.
- Document health care requirements and prepare assignments matching staff skills to patient care needs.
- Plan, develop, and implement care delivery while coordinating care documentation.
- Share responsibility for maintaining supplies, equipment, and unit safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check, Drug Screen, etc.)
- Ability to meet physical demands (stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl), and lift up to 50 lbs
Skills Required:
- Expertise in managing adult and pediatric patients with ventilators, CPAP, BIPAP, Vapotherms, and critical medications/drips.
- Basic care proficiency for stroke patients.
