Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be capable of providing exceptional care in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, providing appropriate care and support.
- Operate and manage life support systems, such as ventilators and intravenous equipment.
- Respond quickly to changes in patients’ conditions and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Ensure the proper functioning of medical equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the ICU.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience within an ICU setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in using ICU-specific medical equipment.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
