Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team by preparing and organizing operating rooms, ensuring equipment and instruments are sterilized and properly arranged.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain sterile fields in the operating room to prevent patient infection.
• Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations.
• Assist in the setup and cleanup of surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist, preferred.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
• Ability to remain focused and attentive during long procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to handle and move surgical instruments and equipment.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
