This position is ideal for providers who are comfortable working with complex patient populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Experience with psychiatric medication management is helpful, but not required.

This role includes local travel 1–2 days per week to nearby inpatient and outpatient sites.

Participation in a rotating schedule for weekend rounding and after-hours call is available for additional compensation and may include coverage for inpatient psychiatric facilities.

Schedule
• Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM

Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including patient education and health coaching
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support continuity of care across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric/SUD units, and hospitals
• Diagnose and initiate treatment for common psychiatric conditions such as depression and anxiety
• Provide short-term (“bridge”) psychiatric medication management for patients awaiting follow-up care
• Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, joint injections, wound care) as needed
• Deliver care to underserved populations, including on-site services at local sanctioned encampments
• Accurately document patient care using EMR systems (SmartCare)
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

Required:
• Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (ARNP)
• Washington State RN License
• Board certification in Family Medicine Nursing or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care
• DEA Registration
• Controlled Substance Certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in family practice, urgent care, or primary care
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications:
