Location: 3070 North Main Street, Kennesaw, GA, USA, 30144
Schedule: Schedule consists of every Saturday/Sunday 9-530 and 9-430 respectively, with one weekday each week. Weekday shift will vary weekly - can be flexible on which day is scheduled.
Must skills :
• FNP license for Georgia
• Candidates must have prior primary care or urgent care experience
• 1Year of Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Duties
• Provide Primary and Family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counselling, and disposition planning for our patients.
• Provide administrative duties to include, but not limited to, opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
• Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
• Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management
Skills & Experience
A MINIMUM of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in either a family medicine, primary care practice, or urgent care required.
Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions
Education
Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
