Description
SpecialtyCare continues to grow and we would like you to grow with us! We have a great opportunity for a Staff Perfusionist to join our Portland team!
We are open to both new graduates and experienced perfusionists for this role. Our team has one of the best work/life balances that is found in the perfusion world. We perform 600 cases annually with a 5-member team and rotates call equally. (First call 1/5 weekdays and every fifth weekend). Case complexity is mainly CABGs, Valves and Aortic work, and no ECMO, with approximately 125 cases total per perfusionist. Hospital staff at all of our hospitals are top-notch. We work with very pleasant surgeons who have excellent results. The perfusion leadership team in our market is well organized and works extremely well together.
This position services an account in beautiful Clackamas, Oregon!
Enjoy lower costs of living (no sales tax in Oregon!) and this area has access to excellent skiing 90 min. to the East in the Cascade Mountains as well as access to the ocean 90 min. to the West on the Oregon Coast and scenic Puget Sound is only 90 min. to the North! The air is clean and fresh with very mild temperatures with almost zero snow. Everywhere you go the area is green, alive, and teaming with wildlife. Fishing and hunting in your own backyard. Position Requirements
Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program.
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
