Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Travel Contract

Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory experience, including Blood Bank experience, and the ability to perform specimen testing and analysis accurately and efficiently.

Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will not be considered.

Compensation:
Blended Pay Rate: $50/hr
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,000, including stipend
Taxable (W2) Rate: $18.85/hr
Non-Taxable Stipend Rate: $31.15/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,246
Overtime: $60/hr after 40 hours
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) experience
Blood Bank experience is required
Must hold one of the following certifications:
ASCP
NCA
AMT
AAB
HHS
Facility will consider Medical Technologists (MT) and Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) only
MLTs will NOT be considered
Clinical laboratory experience with specimen testing and analysis is required
Clinical/clinic laboratory experience preferred
Previous travel experience is required
Schedule & Holiday Requirements
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
40 hours/week
Every third weekend rotation
No on-call requirement
Optional floating may be required
Northside holiday expectation:
Work 2 major holidays out of 3:
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year's Day
Work 1 minor holiday:
Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year's Eve
Travel & Compliance Requirements
Travel candidates only
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
Compliance is due by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date
Pricing negotiations are not permitted
