Compensation
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,340/week
Total Pay Rate: $65/hour
W2 Taxable Pay: $30.50/hour
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,242/week (for qualified travelers)
Overtime Pay: $75/hour (after 40 hours worked)
Schedule
Shift: 12-Hour Days
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Days: Friday – Sunday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join the MRI team at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Georgia.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent MRI experience and be comfortable working with ED, inpatient, and outpatient patients in a busy 24-hour MRI department. The department averages approximately 25–30 patients per day and also performs specialized breast biopsy MRI exams.

Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout MRI procedures.
Provide MRI services for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
Perform breast biopsy MRI examinations as required.
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Screen patients for MRI safety and follow established safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and departmental procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout each examination.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
Current AHA BLS Certification
One of the following credentials required:
ARRT (RT)
ARRT (MR)
ARMRIT (MR)
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or accredited MRI program
Cerner experience
Strong MRI imaging and patient care skills
Ability to work independently in a busy imaging environment

Travel candidates only (No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.)
13-week travel assignment
36 guaranteed hours per week
Friday–Sunday weekend schedule
12-hour day shifts
Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) if they fall during the assignment.
