Pay Details
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Taxable/W2 Rate: $28.85/hr
Weekly Gross: $2,400/week, all-inclusive
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week ($31.15/hr)
Overtime Rate: $70/hr

Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, plus 1 minor holiday from Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Operating Room within the CHE-SURGERY department in Canton, Georgia.
The RN OR will provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients throughout the surgical process. The role requires recent Operating Room experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other members of the surgical team.
The schedule varies between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM and includes on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Complete preoperative and postoperative patient assessments.
Assist with patient preparation for surgical procedures.
Maintain appropriate infection prevention and sterile practices.
Monitor patients and recognize changes in clinical condition.
Administer medications and treatments within the RN scope of practice.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Support patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Respond appropriately to urgent and changing patient care needs.
Participate in on-call coverage as required.
Requirements
Registered Nurse license required.
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience within the specialty.
AHA BLS required.
AHA ACLS required.
Strong perioperative nursing experience appropriate for an Operating Room assignment.
Ability to meet the assignment's holiday and on-call requirements.
Candidate Eligibility
Travel candidates only.
Candidates must reside outside the 50-mile radius requirement.
Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for this assignment.
Candidates must meet the minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience.
Candidates must hold the required AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
