Travel Registered Nurse – Mother Baby

Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Department/Specialty: Maternity Unit / Mother Baby

Pay Details
Pay Rate: $45/hr
Weekly Gross: $1,620/week (All-Inclusive)
Taxable/W2 Rate: $10.38/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week ($34.61/hr)
Total Compensation: $45/hr (W2 Pay + Stipend)
Overtime Rate: $55/hr after 40 hours

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse – Mother Baby to provide quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a maternity unit. The RN will assess patients, provide direct care, educate families, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support a safe and therapeutic care environment.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
Assess patient conditions and identify changes requiring intervention.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor patients and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
Provide education and support to mothers and families regarding postpartum and newborn care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Follow established patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Participate in required weekend and holiday coverage.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby/Maternity specialty experience — Required
Active Georgia RN License — Required
AHA BLS — Required
NRP — Required
Strong maternal-child nursing knowledge and clinical assessment skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work the assigned night-shift schedule.
