Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Critical Care (CCU) / Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Arcata, California
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Nights (Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week)
Scheduled Hours: 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Required Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of ICU/Critical Care RN experience required
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment preferred

Sub-specialties:
• Critical Care (CCU)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Certifications & Mandatory Skills:
• Active California RN License required at submission
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Critical care nursing experience
• Ventilator and high-acuity patient care experience
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills

Key Notes:
• Rapid Response Crisis assignment with expedited hiring
• Two openings available
• Holiday coverage required
• EMR: CPSI/Evident
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of the contract start date is required
• Facility does not accept 1099 candidates
• Housing resources recommended by the facility include Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka, Blue Lake, and surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius
• On-call rate: $4/hour pager pay
• Call-back minimum: 2 hours paid at regular rate
