Location: State College, PA

Pay Details
Pay Rate: $70/hr
Weekly Gross: $2,520/week (All-Inclusive)
Taxable/W2 Rate: $31.50/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,386/week ($38.50/hr)
Total Compensation: $70/hr (W2 Pay + Stipend)
Overtime Rate: $75/hr after 40 hours

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery to provide skilled nursing care to childbearing women, neonates, and their families.

The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, development and implementation of individualized plans of care, nursing interventions, evaluation of outcomes, and patient/family education. The position requires strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and the ability to provide compassionate care in a women and children's healthcare setting.

Responsibilities
Assess the health status and needs of women, neonates, and families.
Perform initial assessment and stabilization of neonates.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
Provide nursing interventions based on patient needs and clinical outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding self-care, newborn care, women's health, and childbirth.
Support patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
Promote family bonding and positive family interactions.
Identify patients and families who may require additional support or referrals.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain a safe environment that supports reproduction, growth, development, wellness, and recovery.
Maintain current clinical knowledge and competency in the care of women and infants.
Document patient care accurately and timely.
Maintain compliance with patient safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program — Required
Current Pennsylvania RN License — Required
AHA BLS/BCLS — Required
NRP certification — Required
AHA ACLS certification — Required
EPIC experience — Required
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to function effectively as a member of the healthcare team
