MRI Technician – Travel Contract

Location: Arcata, CA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $78/hour
Weekly Pay: $2,808/week (including stipend)
Overtime: Available after 40 hours/week
Shift: 8-hour Day Shift
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Arcata, California. The MRI Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with facility protocols.

Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to any concerns.
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
Follow radiation-free MRI safety protocols and facility standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Current MRI Technologist/Technician credentials as required by the facility.
Relevant clinical experience in MRI.
Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures and protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
Required certifications and state licensing, if applicable.
