Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Travel Assignment

Location: Salinas, CA
Contract: 15 Weeks
Hours: 35 hrs/week
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Day Shift
Pay Rate: $48/hr
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,680/week (including stipend)
Weekly Stipend: $1,086/week
Taxable W-2: $16.97/hr
Non-Taxable: $31.02/hr
Overtime: Available after 40 hours

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, patient education, and progress monitoring while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide treatment according to the established plan of care.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients on exercises and therapy techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Follow all facility policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

Active California PTA license.
Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
Relevant clinical experience preferred.
BLS certification as required by the facility.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
