Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-PA) – Travel Contract

Location: Chambersburg, PA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day Shift)
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Weekly Pay: $2,450 (Including Stipend)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-PA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Chambersburg, PA. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help evaluate, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering individualized treatment programs.
Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy according to established care plans.
Monitor patient progress and accurately document treatment sessions.
Communicate patient responses and progress to the supervising SLP.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
Active Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-PA/SLPA) license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain).
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,450 (including stipend)
Overtime: Available after 40 hours (OT rate applicable)
Consistent Monday–Friday schedule with daytime hours.
