Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care

Compensation
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,980/week
Total Pay Rate: $55/hour
W2 Taxable Pay: $20.50/hour
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,242/week (for qualified travelers)
Overtime Pay: $65/hour (after 40 hours worked)
Schedule
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Days: Friday – Sunday
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting in Gallup, New Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience caring for long-term care residents. This role is well suited for an RN who can work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents.
Assess patient conditions and monitor changes in health status.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor patient progress and communicate significant changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Collaborate with CNAs, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and facility policies.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and their families.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License eligible to practice in New Mexico
Long-Term Care experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Commitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care
Important Information
10-week travel assignment
36 scheduled hours per week
Friday–Sunday night shift
12-hour shifts
Overtime available after 40 hours worked
