Compensation
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,880/week
Total Pay Rate: $80/hour
W2 Taxable Pay: $28.75/hour
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,845/week (for qualified travelers)
Overtime Pay: $80/hour (after 40 hours)

Local candidates are accepted at a rate $8/hour lower than the travel rate.

Call Requirements

Call is rotating and assigned based on the needs of the Operating Room.

Approximately 1 weekday call every other week as backup to the staffed night shift
Approximately 1 weekend call shift per month (24 hours)
Additional call may be assigned based on unit needs
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Operating Room experience for a 13-week contract assignment at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts.

The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care, support surgical procedures, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist with safe patient transitions.
Support the surgical team throughout operative procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control standards.
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes.
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team.
Promote patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Participate in rotating call coverage as assigned.
Requirements
Active Massachusetts RN License – Required
BLS – Required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience – Required
Operating Room experience – Required
Travel nursing experience – Required
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Willingness to participate in rotating call
Ability to meet facility and credentialing requirements
HWL Coversheet – Required
