Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU) | Travel Contract
Location: Utica, NY
Facility: MVHS Inc.
Pay Rate: $75/hour
Weekly Gross: Up to $2,700/week (including stipend)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

MVHS Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This opportunity offers competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and the chance to work with a diverse, high-acuity adult patient population.
Position Highlights
$75/hour pay rate
Weekly gross pay up to $2,700 (including stipend)
13-week travel contract
Day shift
36 guaranteed hours per week
Local and travel candidates accepted
Adult Intermediate Care Unit
64-bed IMCU with 15 dedicated Neuro beds
Patient Population

You will provide care for patients with:
Neurological conditions
Cardiac conditions
Trauma
COPD
Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
Sepsis
Myocardial Infarction (MI)
Cardiovascular Step-Down patients
Post-operative patients
Clinical Skills & Equipment

Experience with the following is preferred:
Temporary Pacemakers
Chest Tubes
Arterial Lines (A-lines)
BiPAP
Neptune Vapo Vents
Chronic Ventilator patients
EPIC EMR
Minimum Requirements
Active New York RN License
Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS Certification
Current AHA ACLS Certification
NIHSS Certification
NURSYS License Verification
IMCU/PCU Skills Checklist
Updated resume
Valid driver's license
Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with the application
Additional Information
Floating may be required based on unit needs.
Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
Navy blue scrubs required.
No on-call requirement.
Daily overtime applies after 24 hours, and weekly overtime applies after 48 hours.
Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are welcome (local pay package applies).
