$70/hr Total Pay Package | 13-Week Contract | Nights
Location: Utica, New YorkShift: Nights, 6:30p–7a
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Pay Breakdown
Total Weekly Pay: $2,520 (all-inclusive)
Taxable W2 Rate: $35.38/hr
Weekly Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,246 ($34.61/hr)
Overtime Rate: $80/hr
Daily OT after 24 hrs | Weekly OT after 48 hrs
What You'll Be Doing
Join the Med/Surg team at MVHS caring for a stroke stepdown population. You'll manage a diverse and clinically engaging caseload including:
Stroke & altered mental status
Renal/dialysis patients
COPD & CHF
Isolation precautions
Pneumonia & pulmonary care
General medical-surgical patients
Hands-on with IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes. EPIC EMR experience preferred.
What You Need to Apply
2+ years of Med/Surg experience, including stroke stepdown care
Prior travel nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS certification
NIHSS certification (can obtain before start date if not already certified)
Active NY RN license (NURSYS verification required)
Valid driver's license matching your current address
Updated skills checklist
RTO submitted with your application
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
Floating: Required across units as needed
