Travel RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) | Nights | 13 Weeks | Utica, NY
Facility: MVHS Inc. – Wynn ICU
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Guaranteed: 36 Hours/Week
Pay
$75/hr Blended Rate
$2,700/week including stipend
$1,246/week Stipend for eligible travelers
W-2 Taxable: $40.39/hr
Non-Taxable Housing & Meals: $34.61/hr
OT: $90/hr after 48 hours

Requirements
2+ years recent ICU experience required; 4–5 years preferred
ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU experience accepted
Previous Travel RN experience required
Active New York RN License
NURSYS verification of active NY RN license and all active RN licenses
EPIC experience required
RTO must be provided at submission
Certifications & Skills
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
NIHSS
CRRT & Prismaflex experience required
Strong critical-care clinical skills
Heart/CTICU experience highly preferred
IABP experience preferred
Ventriculostomy experience preferred
ICP monitoring experience preferred
TTM/Arctic Sun experience preferred
ICU Details
42-Bed ICU:
Neuro/Medical ICU: 22 beds
CTICU: 6 beds
Surgical/Trauma ICU: 14 beds
Common Cases:
Strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro interventions, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA surgery, trauma, and major postoperative cases.
Assignment Details
Floating Required: May float to applicable units based on facility needs
Excludes Behavioral Health and ER unless holding
No on-call requirement
75-mile radius rule: Local candidates may be accepted at applicable local rate
EMR: EPIC
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Billing: Biweekly
