Description
Monday thru Friday 08.00 AM – 04.30 PM and every 4th weekend.
We would like to request IPR and acute care skill level.
Our therapists do have to cover weekends and holidays in acute care and IPR although if they do not have that experience, we would not want to send them there to cover. Ours cover ~ 1 every 4th weekend.
Experience: Minimum one year travel experience
Job Summary:
Seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat patients of all ages with speech, language, swallowing, and sensory-motor disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves patient evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and support of daily speech therapy operations while ensuring compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and update individualized treatment plans
Maintain patient documentation, billing, and insurance authorizations
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
Assist with departmental operations, scheduling, and equipment maintenance
Support staff/student training and maintain compliance with safety and confidentiality policies
Required Skills:
Experience with speech therapy assessments and treatment tools
Knowledge of dysphagia/swallowing therapy preferred
Basic computer and EMR/documentation skills
Familiarity with audiometers and speech-related equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education & Licenses
Kentucky state license is required and BLS training is required after hire. ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence is preferred for this position.

Heal Horizon Inc Job ID #1884390. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
