Job Summary\n\nResponsible for providing an advanced clinical level of quality patient care while producing radiologic images used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing x-rays effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience.\n\n \n\nQualifications\n\nDoes this position require Patient Care?\nYes\n\nEssential Functions\n\nDetermines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality images for radiologists; this level may provide an advanced clinical level of patient care \nPrepares patients for diagnostic procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and position patients \nExplains procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs \nRecords digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation \nMaintains pertinent records \nProvides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards \nMay provide assistance to Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing Radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic roomsFLUOROSCOPY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
