An Acute Care Dialysis RN provides specialized hemodialysis care to acutely ill hospitalized patients, delivering safe and effective treatments across ICU, stepdown, and medicalsurgical units while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. This role includes assessing patients, monitoring treatment responses, operating dialysis equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and educating patients and families. The position is structured as four 10hour shifts per week with a rotating overnight and weekend call requirement. Candidates must have at least one year of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience, with two or more years preferred; experience with the Tablo dialysis machine is considered a plus.
