Unit Capacity:
23 Beds
Population Served:
Patients with acute medical/surgical disease processes requiring observation or inpatient acute care admission
Ages of Patients Served:
Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)
Nurse to Patient Ratios:
1:6
Core Staffing Plan:
Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
Staffing Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
