1.\tMaintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. \n2.\tWears appropriate surgical attire.\n3.\tWill have a working knowledge of sepsis and aseptic technique provided through orientation.\n4.\tChecks cleaning supplies each morning.\n5.\tWipe down lights, booms, and tables prior to first case.\n6.\tTakes dirty linen to soiled utility room.\n7.\tPerforms between case room cleaning and terminal cleaning according to standards.\n8.\tTransports patients and beds to the Holding Room / Operating Room.\n9.\tDemonstrates proper ID and safely transports patients.\n10.\tRun errands in a timely manner \n11.\tObtains supplies, equipment or medication in a timely manner.\n12.\tHelps to transfer patients to and from the operating room table.\n13.\tAssist families to consult rooms when no volunteer is available.\n14.\tStocks areas assigned by supervisor \n15.\tCleans sub-sterile and ante areas.\n16.\tMaintains stock of oxygen tanks and carbon dioxide tanks.\n17.\tPerform weekly cleaning of x-ray aprons and storage rooms\n18.\tAssumes personal responsibilities for professional development and continuing education.\n19.\tResponds to co-workers in a helpful, courteous manner.\n20.\tRespects, at all times, the confidentially of the patients records and facility operations. Uses complete discretion when discussing patient matters
