Description

Perform MRI examinations utilizing established protocols of technical factors, patient positioning, and computer manipulation.

Prepare and administer contrast agents for examinations as outlined by MRI protocols.

Instruct patient of special requirements (i.e., breathing instructions, motion, etc.) and provide appropriate explanation of the procedure.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of requisitions, PACs, and all associated computer system functions.

Perform Continuous Quality Improvement functions as assigned.

Demonstrate knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups to include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

Complete all posted daily MRI technologist responsibilities. Perform miscellaneous job responsibilities as assigned.
