About

The coastal town of Bellingham, Washington, is a Pacific seaside gem. It’s one of the few places in the world where you can have both mountains, with the Cascade Range bordering the town to the east, and the sea, with Bellingham Bay to the west, in one place. The bay contains the picture-perfect San Juan islands and is a famous location for watching orcas. The mountains offer year-round outdoor activities, from hiking to skiing and snowboarding. Bellingham has one of the largest farmers markets in the state, is famous for its world-class brews and boasts an active waterfront port that supports fishing and charter cruises. Plus, Bellingham is one of the few places in the continental U.S. where you can look south into Canada.
