Description

FSN is seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. You will work closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care, lead therapeutic exercises, and help patients improve their daily living and motor skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate patient recovery and safe discharges.
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home exercise programs.
  • Accurately document patient progress and clinical observations in the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary treatment environment in accordance with hospital infection control policies.
Qualifications:
  • Active state COTA licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day shift: 5x8 or 4x10
