Description

Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

FSN is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, family-centered care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, promoting optimal recovery, bonding, and education during the immediate post-delivery period.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting
Monitor maternal recovery, including vital signs, pain management, and post-delivery complications
Assess newborn health, including feeding, elimination, and vital signs
Support and educate families on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in postpartum, mother-baby, or labor & delivery required
Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
