Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, high-flow nasal cannula, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust ventilator settings based on patient assessments, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and physician directives.
• Assist with airway management procedures such as intubation, suctioning, surfactant administration, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory support plans, particularly for critically ill patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule:

• Night shift: Three 12-hour shifts per week
