Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and continuous EEG recordings in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients during testing, promptly recognizing abnormal activity or changes in condition.
- Accurately document and annotate EEG recordings to facilitate expert interpretation.
- Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment, ensuring supplies are stocked and infections control standards are upheld.
- Collaborate effectively with neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
- Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort at all times.
- Stay updated with current neurodiagnostic procedures and best practices through ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology from an accredited program.
- Certification such as Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) issued by ABRET.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous EEG experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Shift & Schedule:
- Day Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
